Come hear Professor Monica White in conversation with three Civil and Voting Rights Giants who were also farmers and leaders in the Black Farmers’ Cooperative Movement: Reverend Wendell Paris, Mr. George Paris, and Mrs. Alice Paris. Their important stories link farming and political liberation movements and have many lessons for our path forward today.
The C&E Sociology Haller Lecture is on April 29th at 5:00 pm in DeLuca Forum Room 1255, Discovery Building. A reception will follow in Discovery Open Court.
