To defray expenses associated with conducting a senior thesis (preferred) or capstone project. To be eligible for support for a senior thesis, the student must propose a project that goes beyond a review of secondary literature. If the project proposed entails collection of original data involving human subjects, the applicant must follow established procedures for human subjects protection. Applicants should submit a 2-page proposal to the CES Scholarship Committee outlining the research objective, proposed methodology, and a proposed budget. Applications are due on October 15 or April 15 of the semester preceding commencement of the work. Reimburse expenses up to $1000. The CES Scholarship Committee shall review applications and may grant up to two (2) scholarships per academic year.
